Looks like I’m going to tackle “The Hunger Games” on my flight Sunday.

Unless I can’t stop reading those either. I think the saying goes something like “a man who reads may live a thousand lives before he dies, the man who does not will live only one.”

Daily Photographer – 3.83

As it turns out I may need to pick a second book for the flight. I’m almost done with the one I mentioned yesterday.

I don’t know how it happened either. I read through something like 200 pages before I went to sleep last night. I can safely say that there is no perfect position for reading a book in bed. Someone should invent something to fix this…and not a chair.

Daily Photographer – 3.82

I’ve decided to start reading George R.R. Martin’s “Dance With Dragons” again. It’s been a while since I’ve mentioned this series on here so I’ll refresh you. The series is called “A Song of Fire and Ice.” If you have HBO you know it as “Game of Thrones.” The books are easily my favorite work of fiction, but I never finished the first one. I set it aside on purpose.

Not because it’s bad by any stretch, but because I know I’ll have to wait an undetermined amount of time for the next one. I forced myself to stop reading it because I didn’t want to be chomping at the bit for a release date. Every day I see this book on my shelf, right next to my desk. This is the longest I’ve gone without finishing a book I started. Is it weird that it’s kinda driving me nuts?

Anyway, my flight leaves for LA on Sunday so I figured I might as well cave in. Before you know it, I’ll be whining about how long it will be before the 6th book.

I think I might finally break and get a Netflix membership.

My movie collection is well beyond shelf capacity. Since for some reason I can’t talk myself into getting rid of the DVD cases and getting one of those binders…I’m thinking that streaming movies might be a good option.

Unless there’s some awesome shelving option that I’ve never seen before. Anyone?

After a lot of thought I’ve decided to go ahead and post my favorite image from my session with Abigail. The response to the last image was so powerful that I really don’t want to make you wait.

Besides, there are enough images from the session for publication. I want you all to have this first.

Happiness is a 4 pound bag of cashews, and accompanying bag of dried cranberries.

If you doubt me, go try it. Easily one of my favorite combos. Is it healthy? Probably not in large quantities…but that’s the only way I know how to eat cashews. I may be an addict.

Daily Photographer – 3.76

Our image today is admittedly one from the archives. I try not to do that too much, but there is a reason.

Brad, the guy in the photo above, just got himself signed with Ford Models. They needed some of my images for Brad’s portfolio so naturally I had to dig them up and make sure everything was solid for printing. In doing so I stumbled across an image I hadn’t used before (as so often happens to me) that I liked a lot more now.

So there you have it. I think this was from back in 2009!

Daily Photographer – 3.75

I heard about what may be the coolest event of my adult life…possibly just my entire life.

Today’s photo has nothing to do with it.

The event, ladies and gents, is a 5k zombie run. This doesn’t mean you dress up as zombies and run around. No, this means other people dress up as zombies and you have to run away from them for 5 kilometers…on an obstacle course!

Yes.

Yes.

A thousand times, YES!

I’m so totally, completely, hopelessly in.

Now I just have to remember when it is.
