I am so incredibly sore. With everything that has been going on business-wise I’ve been in a gym 3-5 times a week, but I’ve been there to photograph someone…not to lift/workout.
Most people don’t realize it but there can be quite a bit of heavy lifting in photography. My strobe case weighs near 100lbs on top of the other 100lbs in stands, modifiers, cables, clamps, etc. Move that around all day with a 10lbs camera around your neck and it’ll wear on you. I’m not saying it’s anything compared to construction or other demanding jobs…just that it’s a surprising load sometimes. After 4-8 hours of that or more, it’s not so easy to go and workout.
I’m back on track though, got right at the beginning of the week. My chest isn’t taking the news well. Everything else is on board…just the one muscle group is rebelling and it’s quite annoying to say the least.
Maybe need a little more sleep than I’ve been allowing myself so I can recover better.
See you tomorrow,
D
