Ok, so I was so vague yesterday because my wonderful, loving girlfriend also reads this blog and I wanted to keep the evening a surprise.
Here’s the thing though…the surprise I was planning fell through. Oh well. That apparently wasn’t the only surprise of the evening though. We got to the concert “Ballroom with a Twist” and my friend Von Smith was one of the singers. I haven’t seen him since he moved to LA a few years ago. How cool is that? Not only was the show awesome, but I got to see and reconnect with an old friend. Pretty unexpected, pretty awesome.
