I know I said that I would post the other of the hair images from yesterday, but there wasn’t any time to give to that today.
Instead, an image from a session this morning! I’ve never been a huge fan of shooting on solid backgrounds. Possibly because it’s so much more difficult. With nothing to distract the viewer you have to make sure each piece of the whole is perfect. Or as close to it as you can get. It’s difficult for many models as well because there is nothing to use as a prop. It’s just them and the open space around them. Some people can own that space, some can’t. In many respects I think the ability to perform, even on a plain backdrop, is one of the defining characteristics of pro models, and certainly pro photographers.
