It’s almost time to get to sleep! I can’t remember the last time I was this excited for something so simple. Allow me to explain why.
I’ve mentioned over the last few posts how much work has been going into getting ready to take off to Cali for a few days. Well, the flight left nice and early (I always try to take the earliest flight anyway so that’s normal) and there was still so much left to wrap up that I just didn’t sleep. Throw in the fact that I, for some dumb reason, can’t sleep on planes…then had several hours of errand running to do when we landed…and I think I’m approaching 40 hours without any real honest rest.
The delirium is actually kinda fun though so there’s a perk.
There’s no counting how many cups of coffee I’ve thrown back since yesterday.
It’s all worth it to have spent the first day back here on the PCH with the windows down and the music up. It’s still my favorite highway on the planet.
