Almost a full day later and I’m finally able to log back into this blog. For those of you that are unaware there is a massive automated attack on wordpress sites going on lately. This site is very secure however, due to the volume of attempted logins my hosting provider made a blanket rule for every site they hosted. Based on a number of factors this method causes the entire login section of the site to block traffic for a period of time…for anyone (even me).
It’s a solid solution to save the servers from a much more damaging problem, but it’s still a large inconvenience. However, I think I’ve managed to get some solutions put into place to make it so that doesn’t happen again.
Since this post (meant for yesterday) has gone up so late there will be two today. This and another one later tonight.
