I love looking through old images and finding things I had previously overlooked. While a client and I were going through his show images from previous years I stumbled onto today’s image and decided to play a little bit.
Cropping is one of those things that can completely change an image in a n instant. In fact, that is why I generally tell beginning photographers to shoot with the intent to crop in post. It is a much easier way of learning how to make good compositions. You start by cropping in post, and then move to cropping in camera once you can make that judgement confidently enough that you won’t change your mind later. It just makes sense.
