Two great things have happened today. First, we made popcorn like nomads. Cause, you know, nomads eat a lot of popcorn. No really, it was just the first time I’d ever made popcorn on the stove. Not the JiffyPop aluminum foil thing, but the oil, kernels, covered saucepan way. Truth be told, I don’t know why I would ever do it any other way now. So delicious. The second is the arrival of what Slate Magazine touted as the “greatest hoodie ever made” back in 2012, which I actually bought last week with a hefty load of skepticism while comforted by the company’s insane return policy.
I can across an article on Business Insider about how this company, American Giant, had taken the classic hoodie and made it incredible. So much so that they had a back-order waiting list 4 months long. Naturally I was intrigued, and on finding out that it was available again I decided to see what the hype was about. Now it’s here and I’ve been wearing it all day long. What did I learn? The hype was legit. This thing is shocking in it’s construction and design. It’s one of those things where you basically have to put one on to get realize why people are flipping out about a hoodie, of all things.
Enough of all that, I feel like I’m trying to sell you. I’m just in love with the thing, it is my new favorite article of clothing hands down.
